If I had to guess, Hulu would be a likely spot for it since NBC has partial ownership in it. |

If Raw is the movie I think it is, looking forward to seeing it on Oct 4.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
I think Harlan Coben's The Five was not noted on the September new arrivals list, and it hit Netflix on the 15th...I just discovered it yesterday and it is a rock solid show. It first aired in the U.K.. I have never read any of Coben's books, but so far I like what I am seeing and apparently the author himself is happy with a new way to binge one of his books, so to speak.

If you haven't seen The Babysitter yet, go watch it now. It's one of the best horror/comedy flicks I've seen in a long time. A whole lot of fun.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
Netflix is working on 30 original animes and 80 original movies for 2018. I know their "original content" has an off hit and miss ratio, but I've enjoyed a good number. If they can be the same quality as Gerald's Game I'd be game.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
Wheelman is a nice throwback to those old HBO Friday night movies. I'm digging their recent slate of original movies.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
El Camino Christmas just showed up on Netflix. This is one of their originals with an oddly recognizable list of people attached (Theodore Melfi (St. Vincent, Hidden Figures) has a writing credit on it, it stars Jessica Alba, Vincent D'Onofrio, Tim Allen, Dax Shepard and Kurtwood Smith). So yeah, something to watch.
|
Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
Netflix has added the first two seasons of Ash vs. the Evil Dead.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
El Camino Christmas was extremely predicable. Not really worth it. Unless you like to see Tim Allen play an asshole who says "fuck" a lot.

New tonight:

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
The CW military drama Valor is now on Netflix as of today. It's 13 episode run ended last week. It's unlikely to get renewed.
Also added today was the live action version of Woody Woodpecker. |

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
The last two days I have come home from work my kids have been watching Woody Woodpecker. I had no idea the movie existed/was being made. It was okay for the 5 minutes I watched but don't think I could watch the whole thing.

Both seasons of Frankenstein Chronicles arena Netflix as of today. I had no idea it was a thing, but looks great.

FYI
Black Lightning from The CW is now on Netflix for those who missed it or didn't have time to see it. and yes, it's coming back for another season. |
Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
Evil Genius just dropped. It's a very interesting documentary about that guy that tried to rob a bank who had a bomb attached to him by a metal collar. Police cuffed him and had him sit down. Once they realized it was a bomb, they called the bomb squad but the traffic jam caused by them closing a traffic lane made them too late before it went off.
It's has four parts and is very detailed. I never knew how crazy the whole case was involving local, state and FBI officials. |

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
I have the blu-ray, but I'll probably put it on in the background be so it registers as a view for Netflix.

The Steven Seagal cop show True Justice is now on Netflix. It ran 2 seasons, 26 episodes total. Netflix posted it as 12 episodes, 90 minutes each. It was hilariously bad from the ones I saw. |
Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
They’re all bad. Of course I watched them all.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
For those of you who still haven't seen it, Black Panther is out today on Netflix.
This will be the final major Disney movie (MCU or Star Wars) to be released onto Netflix. Any future movies will go to the new Disney streaming service next year. |
Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
I thought Ant-Man and Wasp was the last to head to Netflix.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
Antman and the Wasp is the last Disney Marvel movie but there are still other Disney movies coming on Netflix like The Incredibles 2 and Solo: A Star Wars Story. Captain Marvel will be the first not on Netflix.

If you've been living under a rock and still haven't seen The Walking Dead's 8th season, it's on Netflix as of today.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread
Why does one need to be under a rock. Some people don’t want to watch it.
