Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread

The Instantwatcher site has been sucking the past few weeks- the "New" listings don't list a lot of stuff that has been added recently. Guess I'll have to bookmark Feedflicks instead, even though they aren't laid out as well.

In my experience, Instantwatcher is always a little late in their new titles listings but yes it does have a better layout to search for items. A lot of titles are not announced by Netflix till the day it comes out, like the latest ABC shows, so they don't appear on those sites right away. I check both sites daily and Netflix's Facebook page also points out some of the new additions sometimes.

Is Payback not labeled as the DC? Because I'm only finding the regular version.

They are only streaming the DC.

The cover they are using is the DC cover also the running time specified is 90 mins which is the DC running time.

Also I watched it and it is the DC.

Noticed that Netflix is signing some of these movies and TV shows through 2025. I guess 13 years is enough time to try to watch the stuff in your queue.

Netflix no longer gives the expiration dates of streaming movies/tv shows anymore. They only give about two weeks notice now. They changed this a few months ago. All the dates on instantwatcher and feedflicks are dummy dates unless it expires in the next two weeks. They should just remove those dates on their sites to avoid the confusion.

Thanks for pointing this out, I've been wanting to watch the DC for years. Just finished it. Gibson seemed like a good match for the Parker(Porter) role. It would have been nice to see him in the lead of other books in the series.

Since the character did age through the books, he could still pull it off. And audiences might find Gibson more believable in a dark, asshole role these days.

The Walking Dead season 2 will get posted on Sunday September 30th. If your trying to get caught up for season 3 on the 14th, this gives you plenty of time.

If you don't have cable, then I guess you won't be watching season 3 until Fall 2013.

..or you watch each S3 episode the day after it airs if you pay $1.99 per episode on Amazon or iTunes.

There are certainly a torrent of ways to watch the show if you don't have cable.

I noticed The Innkeepers and Coriolanus are now available. I've heard decent things about both. I'll give them a look sometime this week.

Death Wish 2 has been posted to Netflix. I can 100% confirm it's the Uncut version unlike the recent Blu-Ray that just came out, which was the heavily edited version.

It's a new straight to video movie from Universal Home Video.

Thanks for the heads up! I've never seen a Bava film and I was hoping to watch one before Halloween.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread

All 35 episodes (2 seasons) of Lost Girl have been posted.

If you have no idea what that show is, it currently airs on SyFy and Showcase in Canada. It's a tough show to describe.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread

Glad they added Lost Girl finally. I don't think they have Haven yet. Nice that they've also added Ferris, T2, Top Gun, etc.

Wonder how long it'll be before they add S7.0+Xmas special for Doctor Who.... Prob not until the whole season finishes and goes to disc in the fall.
