This is going to be like iTunes - there will be free episodes for a limited time, then they go away. The few I checked out of the list above were back to regular price.

And I would use Vudu, which is a Wal-Mart product, if they had a Roku channel. I'm not against pay per view but what is the advantage of Vudu over iTunes?

If your TV or Blu-Ray player supports Vudu, the quality is a lot better than iTunes. It even has 5.1 sound. I've grabbed all the free episodes when they've been up and as of now they're still online to watch, even if you can't get them now if you didn't before.

Wow, thanks for that. I wasn't aware that I Love Lucy was available in HD anywhere.

It's pretty astonishing to see this show mastered in HD after decades of blurry NTSC reruns. I might have to spring for the whole volume, though it's a little pricey at $58.99.

Amazon has them in HD as well. I know VUDU has 1080p feeds but am unsure about Amazon. Only brought it up as they may be cheaper. Another choice also is iTunes except again unknown quality along with proprietary viewing options. Enjoy.

Amazon is 720p and the streaming option is stereo but download to a PC and you can have 5.1 audio (when available).

iTunes streams at up to 1080p with 5.1 audio (when available), downloads are 1080p with 5.1 sound (when available).

FWIW, Vudu has most of the HBO documentary series Weight of a Nation for free now.
