I dont have a PS3 but it is the same on my Panisonic Blu Ray player. The only solution I found was to do the rental from my PC. This gives me 30 days to start the clock for most titles.

^ Good news. Hopefully I can find a way to get the Amazon app installed up in Canada.
It'll save me from having to buy a second Roku.

Fucking Microsoft. Only they would charge an extra $60 per year (gold membership) for something I can get free via my PS3 or PVR.Originally Posted by DJariya

While it sucks that you have to have a gold membership, if you're paying $60 a year you aren't doing it right.

Great news for 360 owners (that don't already have a PS3 or Roku). But you missed the most important part of today's announcement......Originally Posted by DJariya

We've also just added a new Watchlist feature, which helps you keep track of the movies and TV episodes you want to view later. You can add favorites and new discoveries to your list—then come back anytime to watch instantly. Try it on your Xbox 360, Kindle Fire, or your browser on PC & Mac ... and Watchlist is coming soon to PlayStation 3 and Roku.
WOOHOO!!! Finally we get a Queue! We've also just added a new Watchlist feature, which helps you keep track of the movies and TV episodes you want to view later. Try it on your Xbox 360, Kindle Fire, or your browser on PC & Mac ... and Watchlist is coming soon to PlayStation 3 and Roku.

Finding stuff to watch on Amazon Prime has always been a pain in the ass. Now that I can build a queue, I'll be using it much more often.

So far it's not looking good. If they're going to keep putting up catalog titles for $1.99, it's not much of a deal.Originally Posted by TallGuyMe

Today's deal is Hunger for $1.99 (rent) and $3.99 (own).
I'm not going to bother posting these anymore. These aren't good deals. I'll try to keep an eye on it, and if there's anything good in the future I'll post.

What a sucky week for Amazon rentals. I hope this was just an experiment & they give better deals next week.

Sad news... Looks like there might not be any rental deals this week... They seem to want to push the "own" concept... Only advertising that this week there are sales on British titles for $3.99...come on Amazon, bring back the $0.99 rentals....

I agree. Very disappointing.
Thanks b2net and TheBigDave for keeping us up to date on the sales.
It's just too bad that Amazon's taking a step back on these for now.

It's interesting that the deals went away right around the same time that Amazon's 360 app went live. I wonder if there's any connection?

there are some pretty good prices on british tv shows like wallander, luther, etc. for under $10 per season. much better than the usual prices & really good shows.
