Not really sure where to post this, but I'll try here. Amazon had the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon DVD available for preorder a few days ago and I placed it in my shopping cart and then went looking for something else to purchase with it to use a $5 off $35 coupon. Well, I couldn't find anything and just forgot it and left CTHD in my shopping cart.

Today I went to preorder a couple of DVD's and noticed the CTHD DVD still sitting in my shopping cart. It listed a cost of $0.00. Being the oppurtunist that I am, I deleted the other 2 movies and placed an order for CTHD. The order went through and I was only charged the $2.98 shipping fee. Even received a confirmation email.

This ever happen to anyone else and if so did Amazon honor the order and the price? What do you think my chances are of getting this DVD for nothing?

If this only happened to you....it might slip unfer the radar.

I went to order Big Trouble In Little China the other night and somehow had a 13.00 credit on my Amazon account. Made for a very good deal. No wonder Amazon isn't making money yet.

I hope it does slip under the radar. I love this movie and would gladly pay full retail for it, but getting a free copy would make me love it even more.

If you wanna keep that free Crouching Tiger I wouldn't go around talking about it too much.

Spoiler:
Pssst... I got one too...

if you look at the info page for the CTHD dvd you'll notice that they don't have it for preorder any more. so i bet this means that they had it for presale then removed it.

and the reason you're seeing it as $0.00 is because its not available anymore, and therefore it has no price. it must be a glitch that its still in your cart. i doubt you'll get the dvd for free.

the same thing happened to me. I clicked on a link through one of the other forums, and it listed the price as $0.00, so I went ahead and purchased it. Anyways if they decide its a mistake or something I can always cancel it.

Here we go again...

I just ordered it too using the above link and it showed up as $0.00. I didn't even get charged for shipping. I'm sure it won't be honored, but it's worth a shot anyway.

Hmm, #23 as most requested...THAT has to be a mistake, now that the word has gotten out about it's lowlow price.
