I noticed on some other board, posters are saying Amzon is NOT sending out referal 5.00 GC. IS that true? Does anybody know about this?

They still have it set up, but yesterday I mailed a couple valid referrals to my sister and brother, and they haven't gotten them yet. I did get a mail back telling me they went out though.

So it's gone, but still on their site; or it's still a service, but it's not working.

Either way, the same result.

People need to stop abusing the privledge...

Yup - I tried emailing referrals, but none of my friends got the email, while I got confirmation emails that the emails were sent out

I heard it's kind of a hit or miss thing now. Perhaps they changed their software to randomly choose referrals, kind of like their variable pricing they used to have for a short while
