They have a title I am looking for about $5 (or more) less than the next cheapest site online, and they have free standard shipping, but I have never heard of them before and was wondering if anyone has any idea what they're like, before I order it. Thanks.

I think they are great!

I've ordered from them numerous times in the last 10 years. Never a problem!

Thanks, and since the disc is almost 40% off, with free shipping, I think I'll order from them.

Thanks again.

I've been putting off ordering the disc, and just went to their site to do it. Standard shipping is now $4.95. WTF is up with that? Standard - meaning either First Class or Media Mail I assume (less than $2 for them to send it, not counting "handling" costs). It's $7.95 for Priority Mail, which actually costs only $3.90 if they add Delivery Confirmation (which they probably don't).

it may seem out wierd, but it was been weeks since you first went the offer could of expired and it is a shipping & handeling charge. The people packing have to be paid also. Don't those charges suck

Is Critics choice any relation to Deep Discount DVD?
The Oliver Stone sets I ordered were shipped to me from Critics Choice.

Just wondering

I believe so because according to their sites, they are both located in the same (small) town in Illinois.

I ordered an OOP dvd and was told that it was backordered. This meaning I would never get it, but 3 weeks later it arrived. Although the price was a little higher than I usually pay for a dvd this was a movie I really wanted. Kudos to Critic's Choice.

Deep Discount DVD is owned by Critic's Choice. I've ordered from both, and have had nothing but great service.
