How quickly does Outpost send preorders?

Hi, when Outpost had free shipping and you ordered a DVD from them, how quickly did they ship it out? Did you get it the day after the release date because of overnight shipping? Thanks

When the Dreamcast first came out, I pre-ordered it from them (mainly because of no tax and free overnight). I received the system, and about 1/2 of the rest of the order the day after the release date, and much of the rest was backordered. I'm not sure how they handle DVDs, but it seems like it would be much the same.

They usually send out as soon as they have the item. Over $100 gets you free overnight, which rocks.
I've bought networking stuff there at 7pm and received it at 9:30am the next day. Not even 24 hrs!

Outpost.com has been declining in the stock market. It's stock (ticker: COOL) is down to 13/16 of one dollar. It might be delisted from the stock market soon. I don't know how that will affect your preorders.

Well, my question was just answered. Now I don't know if Outpost does this with all preorders, but I just received "Meet the Parents" today - saturday delivery. Luckily, I ordered it before they started charging you for shipping. With service like this, I would order from them more often. However, with steep $9-13 shipping, most of my business will probably go elsewhere.
