$150 amazon GC from MCI usage question

I was one of the lucky ones who got the $150 amazon GC from MCI. It expires on 3/31/01 and I have not used it yet. I understand that if I place an order for less than $150 now, the remaining amount gets deposited into my GC balance. My question is when does the remaining balance expire? Would it also expire on 3/31/01 or is there no expiration date?

Watch out, I tried to use part of my balance and the rest later and then found out I couldn't get it - apparently sometimes with promotional GCs they're a "use it all or lose it" deal. It took me several phone calls to amazon to get the $50 balance to the GC restored onto my account. better I think just to use it all at once on a bunch of stuff.
