Did anyone else have a problem with FedEx delivery today from Proflowers? I ordered in January and the flowers show they shipped yesterday morning PRIORITY, yet they didn't arrive by 4:15 PM when my wife left work. She got a call around 5 on her cell phone that they arrived. Why do we get charged priority if it's not adhered to. I hate looking like I forgot Valentine's (though at least she knows they arrived)...
I will NOT use proflowers again DESPITE the fact this may have been FedEx's fault BECAUSE they only use FedEx.

If you write to them, you may be able to get some sort of refund. They use FedEx Priority Overnight to get packages delivered by 10:30 the next morning to major trading areas, and by 12 noon to smaller areas. The FedEx and Proflowers shipping page states that some areas ("remote areas" ie, rural) won't get shipment until 6pm.
They might give you a little BS about how it's a busy day, and that it's not Proflowers' fault but instead it's FedEx's fault, but Proflowers is good with making sure their customers are happy. With a little persistance, you might get something in return.
btw: I also had flowers delivered today, to a fairly remote area (closest FedEx sorting center is 2 hours away), and they were delivered at 12:45.
