Can anyone really say that buy.com will not be issuing the 30 off 150 coupons anymore?

If so... I will be shopping elsewhere.

I have been spoiled! I RARELY buy and DVDs if I don't have a coupon. (except for some anime dvds at bestprices.com)

Does anyone have any new "confirmed" info ?

Or should I start placing pre-orders elsewhere?

actually according to the press release I read, you will get *MORE* 30 off 150, but less 10 off 30 coupons.

That's still okay, I guess 30% coupons compared to 33% coupons

hehe, my bad, 20% as opposed to 33%. Just some of that George W. fuzzy math.

Yeah, I also read that there will be more 30/150's as well so don't panic yet.

i havent seen any 30 off 150.00 in awhile or not since the last one I used and it expired early, from what I have heard. I think they are more likely to go to the free shipping thing if you spend so much.

My fear is that they'll be directing most coupons to their new, re-focused areas, i.e., computer hardware and business machines (or whatever their new focus will be), and we'll be left out in the cold......

I read the press release as being that they would have these coupons out to attract the entertainment customers who would hopefully come back to buy.com for the bigticket items.

30 off 150 is great. Now if they could issue one a month...that would be perfect.

And with pre-orders it's not like you are plopping down $120+ everytime you use the coupon since they charge only what they ship...

So come on ! I need a coupon before Bedazzled and Charlie's Angels hit the street !

I made a $650.00 purchase at buy.com last week for a business where I work and they wouldn't even let me use the business 30 off 150 coupon. Whats funny was that this was probably the most legit purchase I have made as far as coupons go at buy.com and they wouldn't even allow it.

Hey Pepsi Man! I'm not on the verge of panic - just yet. However, I am interested in knowing when the next one hits the streets. Can someone please post it, when the information becomes available? Thanks...

I would worry more about how long the company will be around, let alone whether they will be putting out any coupons.

Maybe DVD Talk could have a contest (winner gets a DVD) for the most accurate selection of an online retailer and its 'expiration date'.
