Look out for ordering anything from 800.com if you are ordering an in-stock Item with a pre-order, EVEN IF YOU CHOOSE TO PAY 2.95 FOR SHIPPING ON EACH TITLE!!! I did that last week. The in-stock item has been at Commited for Shipping since the day after I ordered. I emailed them and asked why it has not shipped and was told it looked like both items will ship together so they changed my shipping price for them to ship together. Not really what I wanted since the per-order was Sister Sister on 1/16 and knowing their track record with Anchor Bay titles like I do, it could be another month when I get the order. Thanks again 800.com.......... Looks to me that they are trying to get extra shipping charges?

I feel your pain, but having lurked here for close to half a year I notice that you continually have problems with 800.com. I'm curious as to why you still go back if you know (especially with Anchor Bay titles) that there are going to be problems. Are 800's prices THAT good, do you have a steady source of coupons or other offers? A couple of online retailers have screwed-up orders of mine (Reel [RIP] and Express) and I just didn't shop from them again. This is in no way a flame - I'm just curious why you do this to yourself.

ernestrp -- Would you send me the order number or invoice number? That's not supposed to be happening. I'd like to investigate further.

Sorry about the problems. Honestly, we are trying to make things better.

This is a little off the topic of this thread, but what kind of problem does 800.com have with Anchor Bay titles? I was just about to pre-order the "Manhunter" LE and, God help me, "Girls just want to have fun", along with some other items. After reading this I'm a little hesitant, especially since the limited editions usually disappear fairly quickly. I still have one of those $50 Gift checks to use, and they have the lowest price on these two titles, so it would be a good deal. It wouldn't be worth it though if it was going to turn into a hassle.
