Despite ordering it 2 months early...I'm probably not going to receive it any time soon from what their CSR told me

This one even sounds like a movie:

Mine shipped from Amazon on January 8 and I received it on January 9th. I'm in Canada.

As this is my favorite movie, I couldn't wait to get it, but I had a coupon, so I figured that I could wait 1-2 days to get my Amazon copy.

I pre-ordered it the day it was available, but I guess they use a LIFO system, because I didn't get one.

So, I cancelled and bout it at Best Buy. Why Amazon would think this wouldn't sell... and it has been no 1 for several days now.

I got my copy from them on Thursday. Sorry to hear that others weren't as lucky.

I received mine on Thursday. I ordered it back in late December. Sorry to hear that you didn't get it. It's great!

Mine just shipped today. I didn't order until a couple of weeks ago. This sort of thing isn't unusual at Amazon with popular titles. Doesn't bother me much as I just saw this on TV not too long ago.

my local "The Wherehouse" had a bunch of them in the DVD part of the store tonight!!

Cancel the Amazon order and get it at a B&M!it should be a very commonplace DVD to find!!

I ordered it the night before it's street date. The status shows as "order is ready", but I haven't heard a peep from them. I won't cancel it and buy it at a B&M unless there's one where I can get it for free. Even in tough times I gotta protect my precious average cost per movie.

UPDATE:
I just got an email from Amazon saying that they shipped out my order. Hopefully the same goes for everyone else.
