Does netflix flag your account if you continually mark films as "delayed" after 4 days. And if they do, do they then suspect you from renting from them after too many delays? Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it. That feature is the only thing that counteracts the fact that they will take sometimes up to 3 days to move you disc from "released to ship" to "shipped". They don't exactly watch your account with a discerning eye, so get the impression that it's all mechanized. When it gets to the human element, it's probably some drunk slacker whose parents made him/her get a job and cares about smaller things.
I'm to the point where I'm actually comparing how much I've paid to rent each movie at the end of my billing period to how much they would have cost at a B&M. The delayed feature is the only reason that Netflix is still cheaper.
I might turn around after having said this and find out that my account is cancelled, but that's my advice.

I make frequent use of the delay feature and have never had my account "flagged".

Do you hit delayed the day you mail the disc back, to get your next title out to you quicker?

J_Morrison,

Did they use that as the excuse to cancel your account?

I've done it for 6 months now with no problems, but I don't do it every disk either. There probably is some way they will catch you if you do it every time, especially if it is on the fourth day after receiving the disk.

I use the delay button all the time. I waited a month to return RUDY after clicking the button. No e-mails or phone calls about me yet!

Actually when they first got rid of the "already mailed it back" feature and renamed it delayed (supposedly to be used after four days) I emailed them and a CSR told me to just declare it delayed whenever i mailed a title back to them.
