I was wondering if Samgoody would ship my order seperatley if something won't be in stock for a while or if they actually hold an order if you choose that shipping option.

I ordered 2 movies one that "usually ships in 24hrs" and a second that "usually ships in 2-3 days." I'm guessing the 2-3 days means they don't stock it normally. In checking another site the 2nd tiltle is listed for 'release' on March 5th or so even though its been out for a while.

Any ideas?

They hold your order until everything's in stock/released. I ordered Long Kiss Goodnight (out a long time) and pre-ordered Toy Story box back in July, '00, and they held everything until October.

I would call about the March 5th thing, though. I mean, 3/5 isn't even a Tuesday! They've always been nice to talk to in my experience. Check their site for 800 #.

The date i mention is approximate which is why its not a Tuesday I was going from memory.
