Nice if someone could tell me if they wait for preorders to ship and if it costs extra to ship seperat, that is in stock and preorders items.

800.com will ship products when available. if you have both preorders and stuff available to ship, then they will ship in two shipments and get charged seperately for each shipment.

it seems like 800.com raised their dvd shipping cost from $1.95 for the first dvd to $2.95.

Yep, 800.com raised their shipping to 2.95 for the first title and .95 for each additional title. I guess when the new postal rates go into effect they will probably rise again.

They also added the ability to combine preorders together to ship all together to reduce shipping costs. Before you had no choice but to ship preorders as they become available now you can select to ship all of them together.

And soon, hopefully by tomorrow, if you have only pre-orders in your order, you'll be able to combine them into one shipment.

(Right now, you have to have both pre-orders and in stock items in your order to do that.)
