I saw a TV at Amazon and it said "free shipping". Does anyone know how it would be shipped? Do they send it to my house? Leave it at the doorstep? Or bring it into the house?
And would the same apply to Best Buy's free shipping offer?
Thanx.

Purchased a 35" Sony from Amazon about 6 months ago.
It is shipped via truck lines and then brought to your house on a pickup truck.
Two guys took it out of the box and brought it inside the house - left it on the floor because it showed up early and I did not move the other....
But they ran off w/ the box...oh well, I will make sure that I tell them I want the box if I ever do this again...

How your order is shipped would depend on what you ordered. Larger items (over 70lbs) should go by truck. Smaller items would go by UPS or USPS, depending on what it is and how much the item costs. USPS will leave a package at your door, UPS will if they feel it is safe to do so. This is up to the UPS driver though, so sometimes it is left when it really shouldn't be considered safe to leave the package.
