Quick Question about Amazon

I am new to using GC's and need some help. I have two Amazon GC's. I want to use the refer a friend on both GC's. Now my ? is, can I use the balance on the GC from from the 1st purchase and apply it to the other account. Can this be done? Does Amazon track the address a GC was used for?

Once you use part of a GC, it is on your acct and your acct only, and you can then apply the balance only to orders placed on that same acct (e-mail address).
