I recently try to use the HOMERUN promo at Half.com to purchase a cd.
My transaction was cancelled due to a credit card problem.
So I called up my credit card company and they said Half.com had cancelled the transaction cause they felt the account had been compromised.
I had left my credit card info on the web site so I could use the Speedy Checkout feature.
The wierd thing is the my credit card company knew about the problem before I even described it and said they are issuing me a new cc number.
I don't know if this is an isolated problem or if it means leaving your cc info on the Half.com server is risky.

What's with all the sites getting hacked lately?

I only have my CC info on buy.com and amazon.com....two that if they are ever hacked I will not be the only one in hot water.
