4k,Blu-ray,DVD or digital. Or any thing else.Like last year I plan on buying most items online.
Planing on going to Walmart, Harbor freight, Bi-mart(NW store) and maybe Target.and Costco.

I do not need a lot and I have no plans to go 4K as I have 3 good plasma Tv's + 2 LCDs. biggest being 60".
Still might go 4K TV/PLAYER if it a one of the better products at the right price.

Movies
Universal Classic Monsters: Complete 30-Film Collection blu - around $70 Bought
Individual sets are going for $15 now. Not a big want, but if it hits around $70 or lower again I'll bite.

You should have probably put this thread in the "Other Talk"

Most here simply don't look for topics in "Store Forum" unless something dramatics stands out in New Posts.

More than anything I hope to get a new TV. That’s my main goal for Black Friday this year.

It can always get moved. But if the otters can not find it. tough luck.
But seems like BF sales keep getting weaker each year, and not just in physical media. reading up on slickdeals, black Friday forums.
Plus with so many stores moving up the sale to Turkeyday kind of sucks. But most of movies I wanted last year I bought online BB,Target,Amazon.. etc.

More than anything I hope to get a new TV. That’s my main goal for Black Friday this year.
I'm kind of on fence for new 4k tv. Have not really research them and we are happy with what we have.
Might even give my dad or sister one of our 60" plasma. SD should have the BF tv deals once the
ads are leaked.

I might buy a 4K player,as I'm starting too find a few 4k disc in pawnshops for around $5 to $8 each.
ok im going to watch the rest of the game now.

Re: Black Friday 2019, what are you hoping to get?

I spent $500 last Black Friday on a Chromebook, a new 4K UHD player, a few games and a bunch of 4K discs. It was the most I spent in years.

Main thing I want is Avengers Endgame for $15 or less on 4K. And also John Wick 3 for around the same price as far as mainstream releases go. With Disney plus launching next month, I don't anticipate picking up any Disney titles in the foreseeable future.

Gonna wait to see what is on sale, but I'm hoping to possibly grab some PC parts for an upgrade on some good sale if anything happens, along with some Christmas presents for my daughter. Maybe some more video games.

A good deal on hard drives.

I'll see if there any movies/tv I want at decent prices. Hopefully Walmart will have AHS S5&S6 for $10 like they did AHS S3&4 last year.

Has the set ever hit that price point? I'm so interested.

Got the info from blu-ray.com. Looks like it was a lightning deal last year and it had one bad disc in the set?
Not sure if it will hit this price again. They also have the UK region free set out. Not a high want for me,as I own a few single sets, and
it seems like the some of the single sets always hit around $15 around this time of year.

Re: Black Friday 2019, what are you hoping to get?

I'd like a nice deal on Avengers: Endgame and a few others. If the deal is on UHD I may go that way, in that we got a 4K TV last year and if next year's PS5 plays UHD discs, I'd build up some titles now, if they also had the Blu-ray.

I keep meaning to upgrade the computer and may have the money to do so now. Would be nice to find some part deals.

We're keeping an eye out for a great air fryer. And in could use some new workout clothes, bot sure if that's Black Friday material. Our kids are pretty easy to shop for so we're hoping the stuff they usually like is a few bucks off. Polly Pocket is pretty big in our house right now.

I was telling my wife I wouldn't mind everyone getting like one thing for Christmas in an effort to save up for a Disney trip next year, get the kids in on the saving up mindset, too. That takes a bit of planning, would be nice.

Re: Black Friday 2019, what are you hoping to get?

Last year, I got a new Roku Ultra for $50 on Black Friday. I was so glad I waited. This year I don’t really need any new tech. Plus all my HDMI ports are practically maxed out.

forgot to mention that I also want a 4K UHD deal for Spider Man Far from Home. Preferably $15 or less.

Thanks Imma check out the review. Shame there is a bad disc in the batch. Something I always fear with huge boxsets.

Hoping the Criterion Godzilla Set will also have a good price. I got my eyes set on that too.

Next year Windows 7 dies. I'm in need of a new computer too. This time I want to opt for a small size one and not a bulky desktop.

I'll be getting a new Roku if there's a good sale. I'll also be getting some 4K movies and some ps4 games.

Re: Black Friday 2019, what are you hoping to get?

I'm hoping some of those Marvel titles in 4K will be priced in the $15 range or lower. They never seem to hover much lower than $20...and most are stuck at around $25. Same with any Pixar titles.

Just a PSA:

Best Buy has begun free shipping on a majority of items from 10/22/19–12/25/19.

Target will offer free shipping on a majority of items from 11/01/19 - 12/21/29.

Amazon, I believe, will offer free shipping, but I can't found out when. They did last year for non-Prime members.

Update: we aren't doing this. A Disney trip is truly a "someday" thing for us and I admit, I've been having some "Keeping Up with the Joneses" thoughts on this as I watch other people I know who have a much bigger income than we do get to do these sorts of things. I usually don't get that way but upon reflection I've been having that this fall as we engage with some of our kids' friends' families. These people make insane money and show it. That said, I'm sure they have their bills and their money concerns, too, but either it's not so bad that it's causing great concern, they're using a ton of credit, or they're keeping a big secret on their situation.

Plus, our kids have the memory of a goldfish when it comes to expensive experiences intended to be treasured lifetime memories. Take them for an expensive day out to a concert or play, it's barely a memory. Give them a new set of books to read, and they love you for life. They're young, under 10, so there's that, too. There are cheaper ways to make our kids happy.

You can perhaps use the 3D printer for at least one of those items...
