Leon replacement from Amazon????

Has anyone that is receiving a replacement copy of Leon from Amazon get a shipping confirmation. On the titles info it says ships in 24hrs, on my order information is says being release on Oct 3 which means it should say one on hand it looks like they have not received their shipment form the studio.

My replacement copy shipped yesterday (10/2) I also had good results exchanging my cracked T2 disk from Amazon.

What did you have to do to get a replacement from Amazon? Did they require you to send it back to them first?
The reason I'm asking, is because I'm overseas and I'm wondering if they send replacements to international customers.

I live in Canada, same as oversees in amazon terms. My replacement is on the way (international priority) and I get to keep the original.. You just have to email them stating the defect and they will place the order for you.

My replacement order shipped today. they put it 2 day UPS so I should have it thursday. friday at the latest if I miss it thursday and have to wait till friday and pick it up.
I always hated that about UPS. With Fedex if you miss it, you can pick it up the same day. UPS you have to call and arrange pickup for the next day. They need to take a lesson from Fedex.

Just tested the DVD out and its okay. Nothing aggresive but at least the back speakers came out with some sound. A lot better than the first printings.

I live in the UK and, when I contacted amazon about this 'problem', they refunded me and invited me to re-order the corrected one. I have decided to keep the original disc as the pro-logic sound is fine.
I have a question to those who have received and watched the new version. Is it 'really' worth getting the new one? Is there a great difference between the 'old' pro-logic track and the 'new' DD5.1 track?? I can understand making the exchange on a swap deal, but as I have been refunded and so will have to pay for this 'new' version, do you think it's really worth it?

Odd, I had a missed delivery from Fed Ex last night as they forgot that I already authorized signatureless drops in a prior shipment. I assumed it was Leon as Amazon is second day fedexing to me but my amazon account says it has not shipped.
Anyone know if this package would come from New Jersey?

Amazon told me they'd send it out next day air and that I'd get it on October 4th.
I check my status on-line today and it says:

It does make some difference. There was a part near the ending where there were some heavy firing(have not fully test out the whole show yet). Also you can hear the water sprinkling system from the back. Basically, it simulates the enviroment of the movie quite well. I definately prefer it compared to the defective disc.

My copy just shipped via UPS 1-2 day and I got my tracking number (although its not in the system yet).
