I've been calling all day and they tell me that they can't cancel any orders due to a power outage. Sounds kinda fishy to me...

I had them on the phone about a half hour ago and they offered to cancel an outstanding order for me while I was on the line. This was for something released on the 19th. What the hell is going on over there? I asked them point blank if they had any financial problems and they said no and blamed lack of stock on suppliers. Anyone wanna give me odds on them still being around come Xmas?

Hi Jonathan.....I made a post in another thread which matches your statement...I also would not be surprised if they close up shop by the end of the year at the latest!!!

I finally reached someone who could cancel my order and did so. She indicated that they had no financial problems and would be getting all new releases without any problems. Yeah, right.

I cancelled 15 titles a few days ago and boy do I feel lucky. My fingers walked right over to TWEC where I reordered everything with a 25% off coupon and free shipping.

Despite the complaints about TWEC, I've had good fortune there by ordering mainly new or pre-ordered titles.
