I apologize if this is answered elsewhere; I couldn't find an answer on a quick search.

I have an open order (preorder) at Amazon.com, on which I used both a promotional $5 GC and a $20 non-promotional GC (from Freeride). Now I wanted to add another $20 Freeride GC to the same order. The instructions on the website indicate that you can add a GC to an open order by going to the Order Summary page. But I can't find any button or anything to allow me to add the certificate. I redeemed the GC and now show the $20 credit in my account info but can't find how to apply to this order.

Is there a limit on the number of GC's per order? What am I missing?

The way I do it is to click on "your account" link on the top right of the Amazon website. Then click "see status of all your orders". Then click the order you want to add a GC. Then look for the "Pay By Gift Certificate" section on the page. It should be to the right of your billing address. You should see a box to enter a GC code. You can keep entering codes until it is paid or ships. Hope that helps.

There is no box there! That's the problem; it doesn't let me add any more GC's to this order. No box or nothing in that area.

I'm going to call them about it, but just thought I'd see if there was an easy answer here first.

update - well, what do you know, before calling Amazon I went to the page one more time so I could describe the problem to them while on the phone, and now it let me add the GC. It was totally blank a little while ago, now it had a button to apply my credit. Strange. Oh well, problem solved. Thanks.
