I was wondering what everyone's experience with 800.com and preorders. I have Toy Story on preorder and was wondering when they will ship it (a few days before, on the release dater or whenever)??

800.com always ships on release day. It doesn't bother me to wait an extra couple days to get a DVD, so that's fine by me. However, if you want to get it earlier, 800.com is not for you.

So what is the best place to order from on-line to get something ASAP ?

I'm particularly thinking of Legend: Collectors Edition which has a release date two days before Thanksgiving.

Buy.com is probably your best bet or trucking over to the local Best Buy.
