I want to use the CH deal to buy the next James Bond movies. Will CH have these once they are released or do I have to wait awhile. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi genen,
Welcome to DVD talk. I can't answer your question but you might want to post it in the One And Only Columbia House Thread in the DVD Bargains forum for which I have posted the link below.

Check the CH thread for more details, but the concensus is that it takes 90 days from street before the titles become available for enrollment.

CH will no longer be carrying the Bond titles, and is currently selling off whatever titles they have left. Most of the Connery's are pretty much sold out.....

It's in the thread. A few posters have related their personal experiences. Apparently, some have been told by CSRs that the Bond movies will no longer be carried by CH. I don't know if this means they are just running out or if the DVDs were intentionally withdrawn from the inventory.

Was told this by several CSRs at CH, plus other folks have been told likewise.

For whatever reason, the contract isn't being renewed......

The reason why I asked is that my CSRs (last week) gave no indication that this was the case. I ordered the 8 James Bonds that I didn't own that are available, and lo and behold they were delivered yesterday. I sure am glad that I got my eight yesterday.

If this holds true, then I sure am glad that I didn't sit on my thumbs any longer ...
