My T2:UE DVD is defective, so I called and asked them for a replacement. I was told that I have to send it back to them first, pay for shipping and then wait for them to send me a replacement copy. I told them that every other on-line retailer would send me a new copy and some pre-paid postage stickers to send the item back. The CSR told me (VERY condescendingly) that "yes, that's true, but it's also true that every company handles returns differently". Yea, every company but express handles them well! I used to buy everything from express. My first fifty or sixty discs I bought exclusively from them. NO MORE

I understand your anger Kojack ,they also said it's thier policy, I got my Romeo Must Diecase broken and the dvd scratched and they dont consider the scratched dvd to be defective, unless it can't play. They only offered to replace it if I ship back everything to them.

You should of told them to stuff their policy up their arse. I had problems with cdnow once: I ordered 5 cds. I only recieved 3, 1 was on backorder and the other one they forgot to send. And they wouldn't send the one they forgot until the one on backorder was sent. So I told them that these problems were turning me off from ordering there ever again and alas, problem fixed. They sent me the one they forgot right away and the one on backorder as soon as it was in.

Like Kojack, I used to like Express.com a lot. They usually shipped out very fast.
But of late their policies like the one Kojack described made me turn to other vendors.
I didn't like how the charge shipping on pre-orders. I don't want to wait a month to get my titles just to save $3 per disc. I didn't like how they charge for multiple discs in a set. A two disc set costs nearly $4 to ship?
And I didn't like how their pricing went from 40% on pre-orders to 15% on current titles.
So I wrote the president to complain and suggested that if he wanted my business he would have to more reponsive to customers like myself.
Needless to say I never got an answer . I guess they just don't need our business!
