I had a bad experience with Express last week. I pre-ordered Braveheart (for $17.99)
and received it on 8/31 (2 days after the release date).

Meanwhile, Costco and Best Buy had it on the release date for less money.

I have the Ultimate Toy Box, Jurassic Park/Lost World Collector's Edition and the Patriot all on pre-order.

I'm thinking of cancelling all of them and getting them on their relesase days at either Costco or Best Buy (opening 2 stores near me on 9/22).

Will Costco and Best Buy have these 3 titles and how much do you think they will be ?

On these Main stream titles I think they will be cheaper to buy at a B&M store unless you used coupons or GC on your pre-orders.

Yes, I think that's a good idea to cancel your orders. Considering the way they ship orders with multiple DVDs and the cost they charge for multiple-DVD sets, you'll get much better deal elsewhere. Use 2 of Buy.com's $10 off $30 coupons for the Toy Box (no shipping) and Jurassic Park set. I believe Best Buy will have a very good price on the Patriot when it releases.

Cancel!!! The only way I used to swallow Express.com's exorbitant prices are because of the formerly reliable BFL rebates. Without that, Express is history on popular titles. Vortech & yiihnc got it right!

It is nice that the B&Ms are pricing the blockbuster movies so cheap! After the August 29th release date, I will monitor the
Sunday circular for better prices than the online shops for these types of movies.

But I am sure that non-blockbuster movies will still be found cheaper online - which is where I will continue to purchase until that is no longer the case.

I think it will be on a movie by movie basis.
