Amazon has sent me Braveheart, but Buy.con still lists my T2 as "on Order." Looks like this is shaping up to be my last pre-order with them. If they would just stop throwing coupons at me. Damn am I stupid for ordering through them again!! Damn you people that have good track records with them for fooling people like me! I placed my order 2 months ago FWIW...

My T2:UE still has not shipped from Buy.com as of this morning. It just says "On Order." Btw, I placed my order on August 7th.

Don't feel bad I'm still waiting for my Planet of the Apes Boxset that was ordered 8/15 and featured on this sites front page. When I finally got hold of a live person she said it was on backorder and had no idea when it would ship! I then asked for free shipping or upgrade to overnight for no addt'l $ and she said no!! She later said I could have free shipping on my next order, big whoop if they can't ship.
Anyone know where I can actually get this for a good price? No more BUY.COM for me!

Wait i checked my account status. T2 shipped yesterday. ED2 im still waiting on.

Funny I called them twice yesterday and the first time they said that ED2 & T2 has shipped. Then the second time they said ED2 has shipped and T2 went to back order.

Again I have orders with them through September but no more.

I called them up and i cancelled my ED2 Tin and ordered it at express.com after having been lied to about it on more then one occasion.

The rep told me to never order more then 2 weeks before street date because they might "forget" the order. Ain't that customer service for you. She did offer me a $10 off $30 coupon

I just got an email today from Buy.com telling me my T2: UE was backordered. The only problem was I received it on Monday from them. What the heck is wrong with Buy.com? If they ship me another one I hope they don't expect me to pay for it.

LOL dont order 2 weeks ahead of time. Funny. I order everything at least a month in advance and everything has been shipped by the street date so i do not know what that rep is talking about

Well I don't know to be happy or not, received my copy but it is the 2 disc version not the DVD18 I was expecting or that was listed on their site in my basket. Movie looks and sounds great!

OK people I am new to this forum, but I just want to start by saying that I am a big buy.com advocate, and do all my DVD purchases through them. Now, this is what I have to say about all of the "they have to get their act together" stuff. I have received all my pre orders from them on, or before street. Always. Maybe I have been lucky, but what people have to understand, is that they run a virtual store, so things are changing all the time. Sure you got an email that says we are sorry T2 is on back order, b\c they sent that to everyone that had an open order for T2. If yours had then shipped during the time they were preparing the list, there is no way for the person putting the email together to constantly be checking back and forth to take you off the list, they just have to send it.
Also, T2 represents an unique situation, as Artisan has said that supply has far outreached demand, b\c of the new technology in use. They simply do not have enough to go around, end of story.
Basically, I think people are throwing the baby out with the bath water on this one. Just my opinion though.

To show you how messed up Buy.com is I actually received my T-2 promptly on Monday, but received two emails on Tuesday letting me know that my order was delayed!
