i wanted the dvd seven and i saw that they had it available for pre-order..so i called them and asked a CSR if it was the new version or the flipper..she said it was the new version. so when it came in i opened it and suprise suprise it was the old version. so i call them back to say i'd like to return/exchange it...she gives me a hard time and says that i'd have to pay shipping and my coupon would be voided so i'd have to pay full price for the other dvd on my order...i told them to go f*ck themselves..off to fleabay...

Well, I'd have to place the blame on your for that one. Number one, don't trust a CSR, especially when asking about a specific product. Buy must sell thousands of products, and you call up Joe Bumf*ck and ask about one of them. And you expect a correct answer? secondly, there are many threads on this site dedicated to re-releases and new releases. If you looked at those you might find a real release date for the new Seven version

I agree....this is kind of like going into Best Buy and expecting the salesperson in the electronics dept to be able to inform you on a specific product!! These guys know the absolute minimum most of the time...the only way to buy is to be well informed about the product you are purchasing!!! Do not rely on individuals who are getting paid minimum wage to answer questions about different versions of dvd movies....they like your average consumer have no idea what you are talking about!!!!

Well, more power to you. Anytime you met someone who can be a real help, it does make the expereince better. But I don't walk into a store expecting the employees to know most things. It's just the nature of the job

i agree with you guys but she could have said "i don't know" instead of giving me bs..i worked in a shoe store and if someone asked me a question that i didnt know i'd tell them instead of just handing them some shoe and say "this one's for you!"
