Sadly, I missed the chance to pre-order it.
I read a few days back that some people were having trouble getting this disc.
Yesterday evening, I walked right into Tower and bought it for $21.99.
Why shop on-line? How much is it on-line? Even at $17.99 and $3.00 shipping...that is what I paid.
And I got the disc right away.
Hmmm.
BTW-How come this sucker wasn't loaded with x-tras like a jean Reno interview or DC?
Deleted scenes?
Odd.

Very unusual. Tower typically doesn't have much of anything for 30% off retail.
I got my copy for $2.99 + shipping, btw.![](http://talk.dvdtalk.com/ubb/biggrin.gif)
First of all, I'm assuming the "DC" stands for "Director's Cut", which "Leon" is, obviously. The general lack of extras has been known (and explained) since the disc was first announced.

Even with no GCs, using the amazon $10 off $20 it came to $10.96 + shipping! You will always have a hard time beating an e-tailer with "special" dvds like Leon, DTS titles, Criterion, etc. B&M are good for very popular titles like Green Mile ($14.99 @ BBuy), Erin Brok. ($13.99 @ Target w/ $1 coupon in Sun paper) and ID$ ($19.99 @ BBuy).
