Received an e-mail from amazon.com today answering a few questions I had:
In-stock (limited) items reservation
... you need not worry about any of the items that are currently on hand being lost. They will be set aside for you until the time they are shipped. Items that are listed in the "Your Account" section of our site as "on hand" are set aside for you until shipment.
As we thought, now in official word. Cool! I hope that puts your heart to rest about your limited item that's waiting for the rest of the pre-orders to arrive. It did mine
Nightmare on Elm Street Collection pricing
At this time, we do not have a specific date for the price change for "The Nightmare on Elm Street Collection". I would encourage you to check our site periodically for this change.
OK, 9/12 is still far away. Go ahead and preorder it anyway because...
New, lower price on pre-ordered items (ie: From Dusk till Dawn, U-571)
We will be happy to honor the new lower price of "From Dusk Till Dawn". I have made the appropriate change to your order.
Thanks Michael H. (of Amazon.com)! I checked my order and FDTD was indeed lowered to 35% discount AND the in-stock items in the same order did not reflect the new increase in prices
