Amazon.fr and "Eggham GB"

Anyone else recently order from Amazon.fr to the US via standard shipping and not receive their package?

My g/f ordered my Mean Streets Blu-ray a couple of months ago as an Easter present and it never arrived. I checked the order page and it indicated it made it to "Eggham GB" (should be Egham, GB), but was then marked "Delay in Forwarding." What did arrive in the mail was a letter from Amazon.fr that contained a gift card code for the exact amount of the item (including shipping).

So, I used that gift card code and re-ordered the same item with my own account to be shipped to me. Yet, I have gotten the same thing. The item shows it has reached "Eggham GB" but there is a "Delay in Forwarding."

I have not received any letters or emails from Amazon.fr, but I did just shoot them an email to hopefully resolve the matter. From what I can find online it has to do with DHL Global Mail shipping things through England and then British customs is bouncing them back, so Amazon.fr is treating them as rejected shipments (perhaps why my g/f got a letter w/a gift code instead of a straight refund to her card).

So...anyone else having stuff stopped/lost in Egham?
