do they really black out the address and payment info so you can't see where it's going to ship to?

I hope other e-tailers follow suit... Amazon is the leader when it comes to this stuff... their designs are based on a lot of research.

The old cart looks like it sucked. Why was there a reference to 2008? And why was everybody called "Brett McLaughlin"?

I just got the new checkout page today. For the old image I just searched google images for "amazon checkout page."

I don't know if this is just me or what.

The Amazon shopping cart used to tell me if any prices changed since I placed items in my cart. It doesn't do it anymore. I have tons of stuff in there and relied on those price notifications to pull the trigger.

I still see pricing updates. I've also had the new checkout page for several weeks.

I buy stuff not only for myself, but for my workplace with a work credit card, so I wish they'd let you set up different profiles for different mailing addresses and credit cards without changing each individual item. But this new way is much easier than the old since you don't have to leave the page for each change.
