There's only one closing in Nevada, but it also happens to be the longest standing Borders (its been there since I was a child) and the smallest location.
I don't think the liquidation sales will be that great. Remember, there's still 400+ Borders stores in the country that are not closing.
I'm curious if Barnes and Noble may jump into some of the more prime real estate that Borders is closing.

They should have closed the Summerlin location. They never have what I'm looking for stocked on the shelves and the employees aren't very helpful.

Man, this one is kind of sad. Living in Ann Arbor, I used to go to Border's all the time and still stop in on occasion... one of the few brick and mortars I still shop at. I checked, but obviously they are not closing down the flagship store downtown. Heck, they just built a new one about 2 miles down the road from it, which is also remaining open.

They did, or used to. I picked up a few TV on DVD box sets from that location when Borders was getting rid of a majority of their media. Picked up Spaced and Undeclared for under $20 each during that sale.

Maybe they added them after 2003. I lived in Vegas from 2003-2005, but I may not have been in that location since 2003. Once I saw they didn't have DVD's, I didn't have a reason to go back to that location.

A bunch in Austin are closing... but San Antonio is keeping theirs.

Most of the Chicago and nearby suburbs got hit bigtime, but some of these stores were just dreadful to even walk into. Schaumburg and Willmette got spared. Wondering if we'll still be able to print out coupons and combine them with the new discounts they'll start to add on this weekend and as it grows in weeks to come.

The one closest to me in Madison is closing - it'll be interesting to see if the 'clearance' prices are anything worthy

That comes out March 1st! The stores won't be closing before April. I'm keeping my pre-orders intact. They will arrive well before the store closes.
