Try taking it back to where you bought it.

Target should give you the lowest price they have sold it for in the past 90 days (I think). What DVD are you trying to return?

Not buying them and trying to return them to a random store seems dubious to me

Did you pay for them with a debit card or credit card? If you could get the transaction details from your bank it may help prove you bought them. MAY is the operative word here. It worked for me once when I had to return a pair of pants I lost the receipt for but then again that was the only thing I bought so it was easy for the clerk to see the total on my bank account from the store that day was the exact same price as the pants with tax.

He didn't buy them. He got them as a re-gift.

Since you don't have a receipt, I vote for don't return them - Donate them! Give them to charity or give them to a hospital/retirement home or something similar. You will do a good deed and feel better for it!

Re: Where can i take back new sealed dvd..to get store credit

I probably should just not comment on this, but it seems to me that things like this...returning movies you didn't buy to make money from a store that didn't sell it...is the reason why return policies are getting really harsh and detailed. Requiring receipts, driver's licenses, your first born. As it is, stores are finding it hard to actually make money and stay in business and when customers are actively trying to scam them? Yeah.

I agree with Robertwoj; donate them to your local library, charity, Goodwill, whoever if you don't want them. At least they'll be able to honestly use them.
