Buy.com Much Better

I haven't used Buy.com for years after some nightmarish experiences about 3 years ago. I purchased a few things from them on Ebay and got good service so I decided to try out the web site and found some really good prices on things. A couple of orders later and I got fast free shipping, great customer service and quite a change from the past. I never see Buy mentioned anymore. Everything topic is praising/bitching out Amazon or DD. Has anyone else had good recent experiences? I plan on using them much more in the future.

I've had a great experience with them in all 10 things that I bought from them this year. Things seemed to have improved since I last ordered from them several years ago. Their prices are typically better than amazon on some items that I bought.

Re: Buy.com Much Better

Recently I bought The Gary Cooper Signature Collection for $19.99 and I was happy with everything ...I need to keep checking back with them.

Now that I have Prime ,it seems most of my buying is from Amazon at the moment.

Dvds prices are mixed compared to Amazon, but for books they always seem to beat Amazon for everything I have looked at.

The prices are better for me most of the time. I have to pay tax at amazon. Plus I can get a rebate from cashbaq or one of the others from buy.com.. I've been buying most of my graphic novels from them as you are right about book prices.

Re: Buy.com Much Better

I have to agree that Buy.com has gotten a lot better in recent years. I actually do use them for some purchases as their prices are now very competitive. A huge benefit of shopping with them over Amazon is that they have cash back on purchases.

Re: Buy.com Much Better

Checking today I see that they now have a free rewards loyalty program. You amass points for everything you buy on the site and when it comes due it is free credit to spend on the site. Reminds me a bit of Ebay bucks with various promotions giving you additional points.
