If it helps, know that I'm not planning on giving the brand another cent due to their drop-and-rehire antics -- new ownership or no. I did think it was an interesting bit of news.

The site was bought by TigerDirect, who also bought CompUSA and Compusa.com.

Should have probably done a Google search connecting Systemax and TigerDirect, as I was just redirected to the Systemax relaunch page. I thought it had closed again for a spell and was re-released. Shows how much I'm keeping exact tabs on the company.

But thanks, dx23.

I got one of there emails. I am looking for a netbook and they had a HP one. Went there, only to see the no so noticeable print "Refurbished". I passed.

If they're reopening again, will they have another month-long contest? I entered the last one almost every day but didn't win. The old Circuit City was doing a similar contest the last few months they were open- it would've been fun to win and spend the winnings at their going out of business sale.
