Question About Best Buy's Return Policy
I recently purchased some TV Shows on DVD. I have until around July 21st to return or exchange them. They are opened and I have watched some of them. Unfortunately, a few of the sets have some playback problems for some of the episodes. I know I can exchange them for the exact same titles and I plan on doing that because I want the shows on DVD.
My question is this: If I return one of the sets, say on the 15th of July, find out that it too has playback issues, do I only have until July 21st (the original expiration) or do I have an additional 30 days?
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I welcome any advice on how to make the return process go more smoothly, as sometimes Best Buy makes returning or exchanging items a real hassle.

Re: Question About Best Buy's Return Policy
It's best to just ask them at the time of the first return/swap, and if they tell you the clock gets reset for another 30 days, have a manager note that on the receipt, otherwise, if you try to get replacements again outside the 7/21/09 date, they'll probably just look at you funny and shrug their shoulders an point to the store's policy on exchanges.

I would make sure they do an actual exchange for the return. Make sure they ring it through the register, so you get a new receipt with the current date on it. You should then get whatever the return period is from the new date on the replacement item.
Sometimes they are lazy and just hand you a new copy. If they do this, you ahve no way to prove that the copy in your hand isnt the one on your receipt.
