I ordered this from DD during the B1G1 Anchor Bay sale in May (as well as one other title--Wicker Man 2 disc), and since then I have gotten periodic emails saying it's going to take more time to fill the order, and inviting me to cancel if I wanted (which I didn't). Unfortunately today I just got an email saying the item (Beastmaster SE) has been discontinued--oh well. Wondering what this means for the other half of my B1G1 order which hasn't shipped yet.

Same here, although I got the other half of my order.

Curiously, Michael's Movie Mahem shows this (and the regular) version to still be in print. But this is not the first title DD has listed as OOP that still shows to be available and can be purchased easily elsewhere.

Why don't you just go ahead and cancel your order?

I, too, ordered Beastmaster and Wicker Man. In my case they shipped Wicker Man a long time ago (and, of course, charged me FULL price). So, instead of getting BOTH titles for $12.xx, I'm only getting one.

It's a pretty lousy policy to charge for one title of a B1G1 and say "too bad" on the freebie, but not worth my time and effort to raise a stink about. Considering it's DD, I can't say I'm too surprised.

Thanks for the welcome! Long time lurker here. Yesterday I got an email saying Wicker Man had shipped, and they followed up with an email asking for my consent to charge me 1/2 price for it or $6.07 to which I said of course. So it worked out ok for me. Full price would not have seemed right.
