Q: DD Shipping on Tins/Metal Cases?

Do they generally arrive in NEW condition? I'm planning to get the Superman Ultimate Collection via their 20% sale and want to know if there is a BIG chance of them banging/dinging the packaging up?

Thanks!

There is a very good chance of them banging it up. It seems like they have been a hit and miss with me. I always get screwed somehow when ordering something from them.

I had even trouble finding a non-dented one in the stores when it came out. My target had only dented sets.

It seems like at least half of the tins and steelbooks I see in stores have some kind of dent or scratch on them, so I'd say your chances of getting one in that condition from a mail order company would be just as good.

At least when you get one in a store, you can select it yourself.

imho, dd customer service is good. not amazon good, but good nonetheless. if you receive damaged goods, a polite email will generally solve the problem with an exchange. this will usually take a couple weeks, but return shipping is covered so you arent out any extra cash. good luck
