Tower.com

Has anyone ever returned anything to www.Tower.com?

A few weeks back at the end of March I recieved a damaged dvd. I mailed the dvd back to them on April 8th (Media Mail) using their label that they e-mailed me to use. I have not heard anything from them as of yet and its been nearly 3 weeks.

I was wondering if anyone returned anything to Tower.com before and how long it took them to mail you your order back to you?

Start the dispute process with your credit card. Tower.com is now owned by Caiman, whose customer service is horrific, to put it nicely.

Today I heard from www.tower.com 3 weeks later

Instead of them sending me what I ordered. They decided to refund my money. I called them today and they told me the reason why I wasn't getting a replacement was becuase there is 3 people are already waiting for it and its out of stock at the moment. It's funny becuase when I checked out their web site for the title "The Greatest Story Ever Told" it was available. The Price of the movie is now $9.27 . At the time I ordered the movie it was at $6.59

I was on the phone a while back for 30 minutes to get an order cancelled. Every 5 minutes it decreased the number of people waiting by one, making me think that they had only one CSR. When confronted with that the CSR said that "No, there are a bunch of us here" BS.

Anyway, I took the chance and ordered Sports Night from them b/c everyone said it was OOS. The charged me immediately. For over a month they never emailed me once giving me any status on my order -- just took my money. It took a phone call to tell me that they wouldn't be able to fill my order and return my money.

I doubt I will ever order from them again.

Lucky you, especially with this rumor going around about Sports Night getting a re-release:

Ordered three CDs from them as gifts. One of them was the incorrect CD... so I tried and tried to contact them about a return. Tried and tried to get them to refund me. Had to go and dispute the charge at the credit card company to get my refund. Not worth it for $1.75 savings. Never again.

I don't know what is going on with Tower.com but I ordered a movie back on
April 21st, 2008 Cannonball Run and it is still not available or out of stock. Also I ordered a movie "The Backlot Murders" back on April 14th, 2008 and it is still not available or in stock. What is the longest time people had to wait to get their movies mailed out to them?

I can't believe it is taking them this long and the movies are even older.
