fye.com rebate

So I opted for fye.com credit, instead of the actual cash during my last fye.com dvd purchase w/applicable rebate, and I finally got THIS email:

Dear Valued Customer,

Here is your Gift Card. You may use this online at www.fye.com or you may print it out and use it at one of our stores.

Please click here to locate a store near you.

$10.00 Merchandise Card

################ (<--- a 16 digit number here)
######## (<--- an 8 digit number here)

Thank you,

Trans World Entertainment

Nothing is attached to the e-mail, and when I try to put either the 16, or the 8, or even try to combine the two into a 24 digit number into the fye website at checkout it doesn't do jack.

WTF am I doing wrong here??? thanks!

The 16 digit number is the card number. The 8 digit number is the pin number.

^ yep, and you are supposed to add it in the last page under the "add a gift card" button.

Just checked the balance on my two VGCs. They haven't been activated. Time to fire off an email.

^

I never bothered to email, but I just checked my two VGCs at fye.com and they are now showing a balance of $10 each. It must have been a system wide glitch that they have now corrected.
