Do Amazon, DeepDiscount, or DVDPlanet accept direct from checking?

I don't think so. Amazon use to allow you to, but I think they removed it due to fraud. Your best bet might be with DeepDiscount to sign up with BillMeLater (though it will require a credit check - I *think* you can pay that off with a bank account vs a credit/debit card, but I'm not positive) and I don't recall if DVD Planet offers BML.

If you go into the payments options section at Amazon, they do have an option for checking accounts. I believe you need a driver's license for verification.
