Half.com Issue
I'd like to share a situation with the board and see if anyone can offer some suggestions. Early in October, I ordered a movie from a seller on Half.com. After about 3 weeks, I had not received it and contacted the seller for some tracking information. The seller provided a USPS confirmation number that shows the package was delivered on October 9. But the problem is, I never received it. I tried contacting USPS, but they are not providing much help.
I'm considering disputing the Half.com charge (about $18) with my credit card company, but I don't want it to result in taking action against the seller. After all, he shipped the order to me and is able to provide tracking information. If anything, I believe that the post office made a mistake and delivered my package to someone else. If I did dispute the charge, would the seller take the hit? Or would it be best just to chalk this up as a loss for me and move on?

half will eat it and not the seller. have you tried going to the post office(local)? I know it shows that it was delivered but sometimes they actually hold it at the post office and this is a mistake by PO employee.

I haven't tried it, but I could stop by the post office. If I don't have any luck there, then I think I'll file the claim with my credit card company. Thanks.
