BLOCKBUSTER ONLINE-Explain this please...

Blockbuster Online sends me out a movie which they say I should receive by 10/29/07. I actually receive the movie on 10/27/07. I return the movie, in-store on 10/27/07 after watching it. Two days later, the movie still has not cleared my queue, nor does it state the movie was received "in-store". So even though I returned the movie two days before I was "suppose" to get it, I don't get credit for it until AFTER 10/29/07?? How do I know the store employee even scanned the movie in? I tried filing a "problem" with the particular dvd online but the system states I have not "received" it yet. Crazy business tactics if you ask me...

When I return a movie in the store I watch them scan it in so I don't get charged for the one I'm renting. If I'm not renting one I still watch them scan it in. I don't just drop it through the slot or leave it on the counter.

The movie doesn't clear my queue until BB Online has received it through the mail but they still send out another movie, usually the next day after receiving the one in the store. So I'll have more than my allotted number of movies shown in my out queue.

If you exchanged the online movie in store and didn't pay for your rental, then it 100% was scanned into the system. There would be no other way for you to have got your in-store rental for free.

I once received a dvd two days before the estimated arrival date. It was cracked. When I tried to report that the dvd arrived damaged the system told me I couldn't report a disc as damaged before it had arrived. Had to wait to days to report it and ask for a replacement.
