FRY'S electronics

What has happened to the Fry's threads on fridays??? did something happen like what happened with Shity City? Those threads were very helpful, as i am a big dvd collector, but do not want to go into Fry's unless i need to.

They have fry's ads everyday. I doubt its the same problem since they put up prices every single day and its not that much in advanced.

Found this page, havent checked it out yet. http://www.frys-electronics-ads.com/

well they used to get posted on this website at least once a week and they havent for several weeks now, just thought it was odd, as the same thing happened with C.C. before they were unable to post them in advance

I don't think Fry's attracted as much attention here since there aren't very many stores around. I often saw them posted with no replies, so it wouldn't surprise me if there wasn't an urgency to post them.

Plus, fidodido was the only one that posted them I think.

Fidodido is our Fry's man, here. He's been posting their ads for years, maybe he took some time off. I'm sure they'll be back soon.

Since Fry's is so YMMV (discounts are by store, not by corporate order) I just check my local paper's online ads. Dallasnews.com.

Was wondering about this myself. Always checked them out. Fidodido, if you're there, I for one appreciated them.

This site never lists the DVDs that are on sale. If anybody knows an online site that has the LA area sales please let me know.

The San Jose Mercury news puts up scans of the frys ads each day. If one googles "frys electronics ads)...it'll be among the top choices.

Is the Caligula for 21.99 the Imperial Edition? If so that's a pretty good price.

It says "the Unrated Edition" at the top of the box, and has what looks like a coin with caligula's face on it. Hope that helps.

Not really. It says 12.99 for the Unrated Edition on your list above. And also 21.99 for just Caligula. So I would have assumed they were two different versions, unless you just put Caligula twice and switched the numbers around.

Sure enough Fry's has the Imperial Edition of Caligula for 21.99. Unfortunately they didn't have any copies, and no places that price match seem to carry it.
