Well i can't wait for the sale.
If the sale doesn't eventuate i will be devastated.
I already have many dvds lined up to get.
Lots of complete series and everything.
Better save some cash!

DeepDiscount raised the prices on a ton of dvd's. I wonder what's going on.

Price Increase

I just got my wishlist to work after 2 weeks of 'technical' problems and my jaw hit the ground.

See my previous thread at;

Not only did some of the prices rise dramatically, but most of my items now indicate out of stock.

Does anyone know what the hell is going on over there?

It could be possible some of the titles were on sale or part of a promotion they were running and now the totals have risen. I've noticed lots of price fluxuations over there recently.

I've had my own complaints with Deep Discount lately. I was really looking forward to the 20% sale, but now I'm thinking twice. I wrote customer service a polite e-mail about their switch to bubble mailer when sending certain orders after my recent shipment had discs shaken loose in transit. 2 days later and they just bounce my message back to me with no comment. Not a "We appreciate your feedback", or "We'll pass this along"... nothing. And this wasn't an automated message telling me a reply was coming, this was straight from their help desk.

Unless I get strapped for cash during my holiday shopping, I'll just purchase my gifts in-store this year.

This thread should be closed any second now... Tisk, tisk. Speaking of the sacred sale, and specualting on it, before it happens is quite frowned upon here.
Yea, read old threads. There are 2 things for sure that I know of that will get your thread closed or get you ripped to shreds. The DDD 20% sale and the topic of selling DVDs that you get from Columbia House Club.
