Deepdiscount Wishlist Errors?

Anyone else experiencing a problem with their Wishlist on Deepdiscount.com?

For 2 days now all I receive is the following message if i try to view or access my wishlist:

[B]"Unable to process your request.

This could be due to scheduled store maintenance, or possibly an error with your request.

Please check your request or try again later."

I tried e-mail a question in, but got no response so
I called and spoke to their customer service dept who told my they would relay this to a supervisor who would forward it to the tech guys.

Oddly enough, my buddy accessed his and all the DVDs he had on his wishlist all vanished and only the CDs remained.

Anyone else having problems?

No issue here with DD wishlists !

I'm assuming that you able to log into your account ??

You might want to try clearing your cache on your browser - and at the same time clear any cookies from Deepdiscount (as a suggestion !!)

It's not a browser issue - i checked it on multiple computers.
I can log in fine, add things to my cart, search, etc. however when
I go to add an item to my wishlist or view my wishlist I get the same error.

Customer Service Stinks...

After A Week Of No Response To E-mail Inquires And Speaking To A Rep Who Promised That They Would Have A Supervisor I Called Back Today....

The Service Was Atrocious. They Couldn't Even Confirm If They Were Having A Problem Or Not. The Rep Told Me Try Back Later After I Told Him I Was Unable To Access This Info For Almost A Week.

Later In The Conversation He Told Me That His Supervisor Was So Busy And Stressed He Was About To Crack Up - Lovely.

As A Customer Service Specialist (for The Past 15 Years) I Can Humbley Tell You That Was The worst Service I Ever Received.

Apparently there is an issue (they finally confessed). They Said Try Back In A Week And See If It Comes Up.

Tech Glitches Can Happen, But Aleast Put Something Up On Your Site There Is A Problem....

I'm having that problem as well. I guess I could just write down my wants and go about it that way, but it would be nice if DeepDiscount just put up something to alert us.

Same here. I e-mailed them about the problem yesterday. They replied that I should call customrer service. I did. The rep took my e-mail address and said that her supervisor would send me an e-mail about the problem. I'm still waiting. This is ridiculous. Has anyone gotten any meaningful response from them whatsoever?

I have been having the same problem and have received no comment at all. I had a bad experience with them recently (ordered 5 items/got 1 - none on back order, just a huge gaff on their part). They've always done well by me in the past. I wonder if this is the start of a bad, new trend?

Same here. Have been having this same problem as of the middle of last week. CS told me yesterday to send an email to them about the problem. CS would not admit to there being any problem.

I've also been having that problem for the last several days. Strange that some people's wishlist seems to working correctly.

I also cannot view my wishlist. Everytime I try to access it I get the "Unable to process your request" message.

Count me in as another who's getting errors. Man, if I wind up losing my wishlist, I am screwed come November.

*** Update ***

I received a response a few days ago from Mr. David Barker Vice President, Ecommerce Marketing Infinity Resources, Inc. who was EXTREMELY helpful in trying to rectify this issue. Mr. Barker had learned of the issue after reading our entries in the forum.

As of my most recent correspondence with Mr. Barker:

"...I apologize, but we have not been able to correct the problem as of yet. We had a call on Friday to discuss the issue and hope to have a resolution in the next day or so..."

So they are aware of the problem and are working on rectifying it.

Just noticed it today. This has been goin on for over a week?

I guess it's not as bad as losing billing info like from a few years before, but I hope I wont have to start from scratch, as my wishlist here was huge

It's actually been about 2 weeks. I just ordered elsewhere. I like to just click from my wishlist & put something in my cart & then delete the item from my wishlist. I don't want to have to remember to go clean up my wishlist later or maybe forget to order something that's on my wishlist. Eh, I just went to Amazon instead & ordered from one other source as well. I'll continue to order elsewhere until they clean up the wishlist problem.

Looks like they fixed the problem - I can once again access my wishlist after two weeks of frustration.

Well it looks like the fixed one issue, and in all honesty when I finally spoke to the right people over there they went above and beyond the call of duty too try and fix this issue.....

BUT...

When I viewed my wishlist after 2 weeks of 'technical' problems my jaw hit the ground.

Not only did some of the prices rise dramatically, but most of my items now indicate out of stock.

Usually we see a bit of a price bump just previous to the big 20% off sale but that is usually in Novemeber (Yes Deep Discount - We are on to you).

Has anyone else noticed signifigant price jumps? Does anyone know what the hell is going on over there?

Be sure to actually do a search for your items marked out of stock. About 1/2 of the ones listed for me as being out of stock were actually in stock, they must have just changed item numbers or suppliers or something. So, I just deleted the out of stock title & then replaced it with the in stock one.
