Amazon opened my DVD?
Has this ever happened to anyone else?
I ordered a BRAND NEW copy of Shooter on DVD off of amazon.com, and when it came to me in the mail, the copy of the DVD was opened and was not factory sealed, even the tape that is on the always usually on the top, bottom, and side of the DVD was gone??
The disc is in perfect condition, so is the case.
I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering why this happened?

You might want to make sure it actually plays - I've seen discs that LOOK fine, but don't play very well. Perhaps it was returned because it wouldn't play, and somebody inspected it, thought it looked fine and put it back into regular inventory. Which would be border-line illegal, but common enough.

I would contact Amazon about this. An unwrapped DVD isn't a new DVD. Sounds like a return or something else. At the very least I'd want it exchanged for a new sealed one.
