Blockbuster and HD-DVD/Blu-Ray B&M...where?

I was reading that Blockbuster is doing a trial run of renting these at B&M. The online selection is pretty bad. I read that 250 stores are trying this out...anyone know which ones?

Or, anyone in Michigan know of any?

You're better off calling each location.

There are none in NYC (that I know of) at the moment. There is one by me in queens. I asked one location and they knew which one did. You might try asking around.

I'll ask maybe....I know my main store said they MIGHT get some. I'll ask her and see if they have any (or just check the one by work one day....since I'm not going to drive everywhere for these)

Got a phone? Use it.

I did and found 2 located out of 10 that carried HD/BR.

This is a fucking ridiculous response and as a long-time member of this forum, you should be ashamed to have written it. Someone who has been around as much as you should know that this is an information sharing forum, not a self-help forum.

Perhaps their response wasn't helpful, but they may be as sick as I am at the laziness of some internet users. Very often I see on other forums that I frequent that people refuse to do ANY internet searching before asking for help. I usually see a question, do a quick search on yahoo! and I find the answer in a matter of seconds.

If the person had mentioned that they hadn't had any luck finding stores and wondering what other people had discovered, that would have been better. I think most people would love to help somebody that has already put in a little effort on their own behalf.

My local store in Bear, DE carries them both. The clerk said that they are the only store in the state to have them for now.

Yes, I was more curious of who had them....plus, usually when I call Blockbuster they are a bit clueless or rude (except my main store) and that gets annoying. I was just curious off hand if someone knew.

Sheesh

Hardly. Should I pickup the phone and call for him? How would anyone, but people that live by him in Michigan, know of any stores which carry BR/HD or rent? How would he find out...you guess it, CALLING. I was not being rude, and I'm shocked it took that look for anyone to post it.

Look at his response posted before I did:

"I'll ask maybe....I know my main store said they MIGHT get some. I'll ask her and see if they have any (or just check the one by work one day....since I'm not going to drive everywhere for these)"

He has been here for just as long as I have.
